| Greetings to all our members! It is so nice to finally be able to sit outside in the nicer weather. I Hope you have found sometime to enjoy it! And, we hope to see you all at our upcoming meeting. Thank you in advance for considering car pooling, as the parking lot fills up quite quickly. MAY 26, 2026 SPEAKER Our speaker will be Gwen Tuinman, an author from Little Britain. She will share her journey through imagining, researching and writing “Unrest” which centres around a little-known part of Canadian history. She will also discuss themes of female rage and how women past and present have been impacted by the constant scrutiny of their appearance. Looking so forward to Gwen’s presentation. WEBSITE UPDATE Our website went live on May 1, 2026. We hope you all have had an opportunity to view it. This is such an exciting accomplishment for our Club. Many thanks go out to Susan Wallace, our Webmaster, as well as Barbara Rose and Deb Smith for all their hard work in making the website a reality. LUNCH LOCALE Lunch has been arranged following the meeting at Neabors Family Restaurant in the Lindsay Mall. It’s a fun way to meet new friends. MEMBERSHIP UPDATES At this time we have over 30 names on our membership Wait List so for now, we are not accepting new applications for membership. We will review membership numbers in the fall and open up the Wait List as space allows. **Remember to sign in at the Attendance Table when you arrive at the meeting. All member contact information is for use solely within, and by, members of our Club. Sharing of any contact information with anyone outside of our Club is strictly prohibited. GUEST POLICY Guests? We love them! Please note the following protocol: Please contact Diane Lansdell. Two guests are welcomed at each General Meeting. There is a $10 fee per guest, payable (in cash please) at the attendance table prior to the meeting. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES  What’s always fun?? Our Afternoon Socials and Appy Parties!! Why sit at home?? Brighten up your day chatting with your Probus friends (new ones or “old” ones) while enjoying snacks and a beverage! You can sign up for either function at a meeting. The Appy Party “mystery location” will be revealed a few days in advance. Out of town parties will be noted on the sign up sheet. Hosting is also fun and easy, especially with a Board Member to assist! Please contact Lee Anna Thornbury if you have any questions, or wish to host an Appy Party.
